RAJIV AAROGYASRI IN KARIMNAGAR

This is Small Information About Rajiv Aarogyasri Project, Details of Hospitals and Specialitis in Karimnagar Dist.

  

The scheme is intended to benefit below poverty line (BPL) population in Andhrapradesh.  There is no separate enrollment procedure,the white ration card with photograph / age indicated in the white ration cards (BPL cards) will be taken as the proof for enrollment. The white card (BPL card) will be the Health Card.

 

The scheme shall provide coverage for meeting expenses of hospitalization and surgical procedures of beneficiary members up to Rs.1.50 lakhs per family per year subject to limits, in any of the network hospitals. The benefit on family will be on floater basis i.e. the total reimbursement of Rs.1.50 lakhs can be availed of individually or collectively by members of the family

 

To improve access of BPL families to quality medical care for treatment of diseases involving hospitalization and surgery/therapy through an identified network of health care providers

    Additional Benefits::-

Hospital should be in a position to provide following additional benefit to the BPL beneficiaries related to identified systems:

1.       Free OPD consultation2.       FREE tests and medical treatment required for beneficiaries, who ultimately do not end up in surgery/therapy.3.       Minimum 10-12 free Health Camps in villages in a year for the screening of the BPL patient suffering from the identified ailments. Villages shall be identified in consultation with the trust.4.       Free transport to the patient identified for surgery/therapy.Please find Below Details Of Rajiv Aarogyasri Available Hospitals With Specialities in Karimnagar District.

   Rajiv Aarogya sri  HEALTH CAMP POLICY Health camps are the main source of mobilizing the beneficiaries under the scheme. All the Network Hospitals are conducting regular free health camps under the Rajiv Aarogyasri Community Health Insurance Scheme. These camps are held as per the schedule and place given by the Trust. As of now 183 Network Hospitals are conducting around 500 camps in a month in 13 districts. Once scheme is expanded to entire state the number of camps are likely to reach 1000 camps in a month.  

Till date the doctors of network hospitals have screened around 6 lakh people at their doorsteps. It may be further noted that 70% referrals are from camps. The importance of the camps vis-à-vis the scheme and common health problems is increasing day by day. The camps can also be used to provide free medical advice and medicines to the rural people. Effective conduct of health camps is the key to success of Rajiv Aarogyasri Community Health Insurance Scheme
